Janet Mock has filled in for TV legend Larry King, high-fived Oprah on Super Soul Sunday, talked hair with Tracee Ellis Ross, and interviewed Queen Latifah on Entertainment Tonight, but nothing has brought her more satisfaction than hosting her weekly culture show So POPular! for MSNBC.
Janet created her talk show to examine the cultural experiences that occupy our brains and time, giving her and her guests the space to delve deep into popular culture, using a political, feminist and social justice lens. The goal of So POPular! is to discuss the things you pretend you’re too smart to like in an effort to expand the idea of what is considered political and worthy of analysis.
